One Habitat. One Heritage.
The non-profit Gettysburg Nature Alliance educates about and preserves elements of both habitat and heritage.
Just as Gettysburg's history is a vital part of the national story, so, too is, Gettysburg's habitat.
The Alliance is committed to actionable and achievable education and preservation goals
relating to Gettysburg's habitat and heritage--and their relevance to our national story.
Founded in 2017, the Alliance already has
- acquired land and is continues to develop a learning barn near historic Sachs Bridge in Gettysburg, Pa.
- established partnerships on the local, regional and national levels
- started operating the Gettysburg Heritage Center in downtown Gettysburg
- offered educational programs to schools lessons about the region's habitat and its relevance beyond the local area
